Chelsea winger Tyrique George has sensationally been linked with a move to Manchester United by quite a good source as well.

It’s a wild one for sure. I mean, we are in a transfer window right now so we are used to seeing these wild rumours, but this one is up there with the wildest of transfer rumours.

George is set to leave Chelsea still this winter, but with only a matter of days left now, you’d imagine that those chances of him leaving are decreasing by the minute. He’s been linked with plenty of clubs, but not United yet. That is until now at least.

So, are they really interested in him? Well, yes, they are. But it seems like it might only be some tentative interest as they search for a new winger.

The Daily Mail have a report out this week speaking about a number of targets and positions that United are looking to sign in going forward.

There is a section in the report, written by reliable journalist Nathan Salt, who seems to be pretty well connected at United, that speaks about wingers that United are looking at; George being one of them.

George is another name on United’s list, according to the Daily Mail, with United increasingly preferring players with Premier League pedigree, though the 19-year-old winger is relatively unproven.

Can’t see that happening at all, mind you.

Liam Rosenior has he pre-match press conference last night for the Napoli game tonight, and he confirmed that he is due to have some talks with a Chelsea defender who was recalled from his loan spell later this week.

He also said that Moises Caicedo plays like a 35-year-old which is actually a back-handed compliment for the midfielder!
