Manchester United are being linked with Wolves prospects, while Borussia Dortmund have moved for a former Molineux defender and Aston Villa are working on midfield and goalkeeper plans.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, United have been linked with 18-year-old Mateus Mane after talk of a reunion with Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone. United are said to lead the race if he leaves this summer.
Wolves head coach Rob Edwards has said Mane will stay in the Championship, and the player has echoed that stance.
Borussia Dortmund are said to have tabled an offer for former Wolves defender Bastien Meupiyou, now at Alverca, worth a reported £14.7 million including add-ons.
Wolves hold a low-cost buy-back clause but are not expected to activate it. Their sell-on deal would return the £4.2 million fee and 50 per cent of any profit, so a move could bring a windfall.
Villa are said to be in talks over a new contract for Lamare Bogarde, 22, after an impressive spell under Unai Emery, with Brighton among the clubs said to be interested.
Although Bogarde’s deal runs to 2028, discussions are understood to be ongoing. With Emi Martinez linked with a move, Villa are credited with interest in PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, with Spurs also named.
