Valencia ratings as Javi Guerra shines, Dimitrievski saves and Diego López suffers knee blow | OneFootball

Javi Guerra was Valencia's standout against Barça at Mestalla. Dimitrievski produced immense saves to deny further Barça goals.

According to AS, Guerra dragged the team forward throughout, scored the equaliser and is finishing the season in flying form.

Guido Rodríguez controlled midfield in the first half, initiating much of Valencia's play. Ugrinic could have scored before the break, though he had limited influence with Guerra and Guido running the game.

Pepelu again filled in at centre-back and did not look out of place, staying close to Barça's attackers, who created little. Tárrega was largely assured despite a couple of isolated errors.

Jesús Vázquez impressed on the left, repeatedly threatening in advanced areas. Unai Núñez started at full-back, grew into it and took a lap of honour at Mestalla.

Luis Rioja emptied the tank and struck Valencia's second. Hugo Duro battled around the box and passed up a good chance.

Diego López was lively and created chances, but had to go off with what appeared to be a serious knee injury.

Ramazani was busy down his flank and dangerous. Sadiq did not improve on Hugo Duro, while Thierry came on in stoppage time and Almeida entered in minute 97.
