Verona starlet Alphadjo Cissè joins Milan after promising loan with Catanzaro in Serie B | OneFootball

Milan have announced the signing of Hellas Verona talent Alphadjo Cissè. The in-form 19-year-old Italian youth international has been on loan at Catanzaro and will continue there until the end of the season.

Cissè developed with Giorgione and Hellas Verona, and at the latter, he established himself as one of the most promising talents of his age group. The 2023/24 season marked this, as he registered 16 goals for the Primavera team before making his debut in Serie A in May 2024.

This season, Cissè turned heads out on loan in Serie B with Catanzaro, where he has scored six goals and provided one assist in 21 appearances. These performances demonstrated enough for Milan to swoop, as he showed great technical ability and the aptitude to make an impact in professional football.

The Treviso-born Cissè has familial roots in Guinea, yet has represented Italy at youth level from U16 to now the U21s, of which he was recently called up.
