Villarreal and Valencia name derby squads with late changes

Villarreal and Valencia have finalised their matchday squads for tonight’s derby at La Cerámica, kick-off 21:00, after assembling in their team hotels.

According to Superdeporte, Valencia head coach Carlos Corberán has travelled without Lucas Beltrán, who has not recovered in time and remains in Valencia.

Corberán welcomes back Thierry Rendall and Arnaut Danjuma from injury, and Copete is available again after suspension.

Diego López and Julen Agirrezabala are still out. The squad is completed with academy players Vicent Abril and Otorbi.

For Villarreal, Alfon González is the headline inclusion in Marcelino García Toral’s list. Rafa Marín returns from fitness issues and Dani Parejo is available despite a knock. Gerard Moreno is out of tonight’s match.
