Welcoming Mateusz Klich back to Elland Road

At half-time in our clash against Manchester United on Sunday, supporters are urged to stay in their seats to welcome club legend Mateusz Klich back to Elland Road.

During his time at Leeds, spelling from 2017 to 2023, Klich made 144 appearances for the Whites, scoring 21 times, as well as featuring for international side Poland.

Mateusz was an integral part of Marcelo Biesla’s side that achieved promotion to the Premier League in 2020, a time in which he accumulated a 92-game streak of Sky Bet Championship starts.

To celebrate the midfielder’s contributions to the club, Klich was commemorated with a guard of honour on his final appearance as his teammates donned shirts in his name to see him off.
