Roma are working non-stop to bring Wesley to Gian Piero Gasperini’s orders.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the player has already given his consent to the transfer and considers Roma the best opportunity for his career at this time.
The player and the Giallorossi have reached a full agreement.
Other clubs have also made moves for the Brazilian defender.
Zenit St. Petersburg has made a higher offer to both the player and Flamengo, which the Brazilian club reportedly welcomed.
However, Wesley has rejected the offer, reiterating his desire to join Roma.
Manchester City is also looking for a right-back and has added Wesley to their list of candidates, but so far they have only made preliminary contact with agents and have not made an official offer.
Roma thus maintains an advantage in the negotiations, but a financial agreement with Flamengo remains to be reached before the deal can be fully finalized.
