Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma team continues preparations for the big match against Inter on Saturday, October 18th, in Serie A’s seventh round.
The goal is to secure valuable points in the first major match of the season, but the coach still has to contend with some key absences among the players remaining at Trigoria.
As reported by Il Messaggero, the Giallorossi squad is still reduced due to international commitments.
Among those training separately is Leon Bailey, who underwent new medical tests: the tests confirmed that his muscle injury has healed.
The Jamaican winger will therefore begin a gradual reintegration into the group, but without rushing his schedule. His participation against Inter remains uncertain, as the coaching staff is not taking any risks.
There is good news for Wesley and Angeliño, both on the road to recovery: the two are expected to be available again starting Monday. This will give Gasperini more options on the flanks, a key position in his system.
