West Ham United are preparing a January loan move for Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee.
Zirkzee has fallen out of favour this season following the summer arrivals of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
The Dutchman is yet to start a fixture across any competition and has totalled just 74 minutes of Premier League football in his three substitute appearances.
Zirkzee is considering his options, as he looks to make the Netherland squad for next summer’s World Cup. West Ham are reportedly prepared to offer the 24-year-old an escape route.
The iPaper are reporting that the Hammers are lining up a loan approach, as Nuno Espirito Santo seeks to enhance his attacking options.
Niclas Fullkrug is currently out after an injury-hit spell in East London, leaving 33-year-old Callum Wilson as the club’s only senior option at centre-forward.
Everton have also been mentioned as an option for Zirkzee, who has struggled to convince in the Premier League. He has netted just three times in 35 league appearances since arriving from Bologna for £36m in 2024.
