Monaco have some exciting talents in their squad, but Paul Pogba is perhaps their biggest name and he’s not currently fit and available for selection.

Still, City will have to watch out for Ansu Fati, on loan at Monaco from Barcelona, and in fine form at the moment. Former Arsenal striker Mika Biereth has also shone during his time in Ligue 1, so he could be a threat.

Manchester City vs Monaco head-to-head-record

Somewhat surprisingly, these two teams have only met twice before, and that was a classic tie in the Champions League back in the 2016/17 season.
