Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski left those behind the scenes at the club less than impressed with his behaviour whilst on international duty this week.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.

Frontman Lewandowski is of course fresh off being condemned to a spell on the sidelines.

This comes after the 37-year-old suffered a muscular injury whilst lining out for Poland in a World Cup qualifying fixture against Lithuania.

Lewandowski managed to find the net in a 2-0 victory for his country, but post-match, it was revealed that he had picked up a problem in his hamstring.

And if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, the former Bayern Munich man only made as much worse over the course of the 90 minutes.

Lewandowski actually suffered the setback early on in the clash, before being strapped up by the Polish medical team.

After noticing what is described as ‘a twinge’, though, the attacker felt it best to continue, a decision which MD report ‘has generated surprise and displeasure at the Barça club’.
