Willian Jose strikes as Bahia climb to third in Brasileirão

Bahia beat Internacional 1-0 at Estádio José Pinheiro Borda, climbing to third and extending an unbeaten league start to five, while prolonging Internacional's winless run to six.

In the 23rd minute Willian Jose finished from close range to put the visitors in front.

After the restart Inter introduced Bruno Gomes, whose crisp distribution lifted the tempo as he completed all 27 passes and pushed play into the final third.

Bahia goalkeeper Ronaldo preserved the lead, blocking Vitinho's low strike (64.) as Inter pressed for an equaliser.
