Nottingham Forest defender Willy Boly could leave in January, with a return to France considered a serious option, Africa Foot reports, adding that he is likely in his final weeks as a Reds player.
The 34-year-old has made only two appearances this season. He has yet to feature under head coach Sean Dyche and has not played since September.
His contract expires at the end of the campaign and a new deal is viewed as unlikely. He would be a free agent in the summer, though the report says a January exit remains possible. Millwall and Hull City have also been linked.
Boly joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers in summer 2022 and signed a one-year extension at the end of last season. After the 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, he linked up with Ivory Coast for the Africa Cup of Nations.
In central defence, Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo are established as first choice. Dyche can also call on Morato, Jair Cunha and Zach Abbott, while David Carmo and Tyler Bindon are out on loan.
After a busy summer, the winter window is expected to be quieter, although movement is possible. Dyche says planning is ongoing at the club, with constant reviews of injuries, needs and potential ins and outs.
