Florian Wirtz has been dropped from the Liverpool starting lineup to face Everton, while Alexander Isak will have to wait for his first Premier League start with the club.
Arne Slot made four changes to the side that beat Atletico Madrid 3-2 in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
Andy Robertson and Jeremie Frimpong have been relegated to the bench in place of Milos Kerkez and Conor Bradley.
For the first time this season, £116 million signing Wirtz will not start for the Reds as Slot has reverted to his trusted midfield trio of Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Hugo Ekitike comes back into the team after making way for Isak on Wednesday. The Sweden international could make his first appearance in the top flight since joining Liverpool from Newcastle United in a deal worth up to £130 million in the summer.
Curtis Jones has been named among the substitutes after missing the last two games through injury, meaning Slot has a fully fit squad for the first time this season.
Meanwhile, David Moyes has made one change to the Everton lineup that drew 0-0 with Aston Villa in the Premier League last weekend. Tim Iroegbunam drops to the bench in place of Vitalii Mykolenko.
Liverpool starting XI: Alisson, Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Gakpo, Salah, Ekitike.
Subs: Mamardashvili, Gomez, Endo, Wirtz, Isak, Jones, Robertson, Frimpong, Ngumoha.
Everton starting XI: Pickford, O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko, Gueye, Garner, Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, Grealish, Beto.
Subs: Travers, Patterson, McNeil, Barry, Dibling, Coleman, Alcaraz, Aznou, Iroegbunam.
