The Algerian international, who was a true sensation last season, is struggling to rediscover the spark that made him one of the Bundesliga's most feared forwards. Despite four decisive contributions (two goals, two assists), the 25-year-old has seemed out of sorts for several weeks now, embodying the German club’s offensive woes.

A talent in need of direction

Since his arrival, new coach Paul Simonis has been searching for the best way to unleash his most explosive asset. The former Twente manager acknowledges Amoura’s exceptional potential but points to a lack of tactical adaptation.

Known for his attacking instinct and creative freedom, the Algerian winger is struggling to thrive within the rigid system implemented by Simonis.
