Newcastle United entertained Wolverhampton Wanderers at St. James’ Park earlier today as they looked to earn a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Magpies made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 29th minute when Nick Woltemade scored with a great header. Eddie Howe’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
The Tyneside club sat on their slender lead well and managed to secure a narrow 1-0 win in front of their home supporters.
