The Wolves 1877 Supporters' Trust has welcomed Jeff Shi's exit and urged supporters to unite as they push for change at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Shi stood down as executive chairman on Friday night and was replaced on an interim basis by Nathan Shi, while owners Fosun consider a permanent successor.

Fans and organised groups kept up protests against the owners during the weekend defeat to Brentford.

The Trust said a dedicated club CEO had long been a key demand, credited fan pressure for progress, and welcomed Nathan Shi, while stressing this is only a first step towards better management.

Its Manifesto for Change lists 23 actions and calls for a clearer strategic direction, spanning stadium plans and ambitions for Wolves Women.

Working with the Wolves Fan Alliance, the Trust argues a united fan base can apply meaningful pressure on the owners, as seen in the ticket price campaign, and it welcomes commitments to constructive dialogue.

It plans to present its agenda through public and private channels, will keep members updated, and encourages supporters to join to strengthen the collective voice.
