Intercontinental playoffs: DR Congo unveil official squad list

The coach of the Democratic Republic of Congo national team has announced a 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup intercontinental playoff.

The long-awaited squad list for the "Leopards" was unveiled on March 11. The mission to secure DR Congo's second-ever World Cup appearance has been entrusted to these 26 players. Sébastien Desabre will rely on his key pillars like captain Chancel Mbemba, Cedric Bakambu, Yoane Wissa, Samuel Moutoussamy and others.

The French coach has recalled Dylan Batubinsika, Jeremy Ngakia, Grady Diangana, and Simon Banza, who were absent from the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
