Barcelona faced off against Villarreal at the Estadio de la Ceramica earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 12th minute when Raphinha found the back of the net from the penalty spot. Renato Veiga was sent off by the referee in the 39th minute as Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Lamine Yamal doubled Barca’s advantage in the 63rd minute. The contest ended with the Catalan giants earning a solid 2-0 win away from home.

Garcia anchored the midfield with conviction and made two inviting chances in the final third.
