FC Barcelona is a club known for its global reach and for being the dream destination of many players. Moreover, it is hardly surprising considering the club’s history, prestige, and the legends that have played for it. Even today, Barcelona remains one of football’s top sides for a reason.
Interestingly, even with the club having certain financial restrictions, they remain competitive in each and every single competition. Across La Liga, the Copa del Rey, the UEFA Champions League, and the Spanish Super Cup, La Blaugrana have managed to compete deep into each competition.
They have won two of them already, barely lost in the semi-final of the Champions League, and are on course to win La Liga following their recent victory over Real Madrid. One of the main contributors to that win and many others this season, however, has been none other than 17-year-old Lamine Yamal.
A player who was supposed to mark an era for himself in the future, he has hit the accelerator early and is already the present of Barcelona. His quality is undeniable, and his ability to pop up in big games with big moments is unquestionable as well.

However, a certain player who has been linked to Barcelona in recent months also could not help but join in on the post-match celebrations and hype. Marcus Rashford, currently signed to Premier League side Aston Villa, commented on Yamal’s post on Instragram as highlighted by FCB World:
“Young King.”
A small comment, but one that undeniably shows respect and admiration. Yamal delivered a sensational performance in this game, and even scored a brilliant goal by himself. This comment simply reflects that, and shows just how much others appreciate his quality as well.
As for Marcus Rashford himself, the 27-year-old English winger reportedly wants to join Barcelona as well. Moreover, with the club potentially looking to sign someone with a more natural fit to cover that left wing position, the in-form Englishman might not be a bad option.
