Yuri Alberto has re-established himself as Corinthians’ outright leading scorer in 2026 after netting in the 2-0 win over Flamengo at Mané Garrincha that secured the Supercopa do Brasil.

The striker struck in second-half stoppage time, latching onto a through ball, lifting it over goalkeeper Rossi and scoring. The flag went up for offside, then a review awarded the goal.

He now has three goals in six games this year, having also scored against Santos and Velo Clube in the Campeonato Paulista. Breno Bidon has two in seven, while André Ramalho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique and André Luiz are on one apiece.

It is the third straight year he has led Corinthians’ scoring charts. He hit 19 in 2025 and enjoyed his most prolific season for the club in 2024 with 31. In 2023 he finished as runner-up with 15, behind Róger Guedes on 21.

Dorival Júnior’s side host Capivariano at Neo Química Arena on Thursday, 5 February, in the sixth round of the Paulista, kick-off 20:30.
