Zakaria Labyad back in training as Diniz makes final tweaks before Cascavel friendly

Zakaria Labyad returned to training with the squad at CT Joaquim Grava on Thursday. He could be involved in Corinthians’ friendly at Cascavel on Sunday at 16:00 Brasília time.

The Moroccan midfielder had missed Wednesday’s session with thigh discomfort. According to Globo.com, Fernando Diniz oversaw preparations for the weekend friendly.

The session featured attack versus defence drills, with duels at the edge of the box and crosses for aerial contests.

Diniz then led tactical work focused on defensive behaviours, guiding the team through different game situations.

Defender Gustavo Henrique was again absent, still troubled by hip flexor pain. The squad return to training on Friday morning, again at CT Joaquim Grava.
