Spain were crowned 2026 FIFA World Cup champions after beating Argentina in Sunday’s final.

Unai Simon: He won the Golden Glove award and recorded the highest save percentage. His proactive style also helped Spain maintain an effective high defensive line.
Pedro Porro: The Spurs right-back was solid defensively, making 37 defensive contributions. He also scored two goals.
Pau Cubarsi: He led the tournament for touches, successful passes and clearances. Deservedly won the FIFA Young Player Award.
Marc Guehi: Guehi rarely put a foot wrong, helping England secure a third-place finish with his composure on the ball and brilliant defending.
Marc Cucurella: He ranked first for assists and second for big chances created amongst left backs at the tournament. He was also dribbled past only twice.
Rodri: Named the Golden Ball winner, Rodri’s brilliant positioning in and out of possession allowed Spain to control games and restrict the opposition from creating chances.
Declan Rice: Among central midfielders at the tournament, Rice ranked first for key passes per game and registered three goal involvements.
Jude Bellingham: The Real Madrid star was the Three Lions’ best player. He scored seven goals, the most by an England player in a single World Cup.
Michael Olise: He became the first player on record to register six assists from open play. He also equalled the tournament’s assist record.
Kylian Mbappe: The Frenchman won the Golden Boot and became the all-time leading goalscorer in the competition’s history.
Lionel Messi: Messi ranked first for big chances created and key passes per game. He also ranked second for goals scored and successful dribbles per game.
