Asked about the USA's chances in this competition, the American president admitted that the US had a slim chance.

"It's a great honor to be here. Gianni (Infantino) has done a fantastic job. Ticket sales are breaking records—it's amazing. Do the United States have a chance to win the World Cup? I think yes, they have a small chance. It's a tough competition, but we have a shot. Which country will I support? You know, I'm used to supporting many countries. But this time, I'll be mostly behind the United States," Trump told RMC Sport.
