4 Real Betis stars miss out as squad named for Girona clash | OneFootball

The squad of players called upon by the coaching staff at Real Betis for the club’s next outing has on Sunday been unveiled.

Betis are due to return to action on Monday evening.

Fresh off booking their spot in the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League, the Verdiblancos will shift focus back towards matters on the domestic front, in a La Liga meeting with Girona.

As alluded to above, though, in efforts to secure another three-point haul at Montilivi, Monday’s visitors will be forced to make do without the contributions of a quartet of stars.

Manuel Pellegrini’s travelling squad bound for Catalunya was revealed online a short time ago.

And notable absentees came in the form of all of Diego Llorente, Marc Roca, Chimy Ávila, and Ricardo Rodríguez.

The latter, it is noted by Mundo Deportivo, should be given the medical green light in time to play his part against Real Valladolid this coming Thursday.
