5 Chelsea players being considered by European giants who could bail out Blues big squad | OneFootball

Yesterday’s news that AC Milan are interested in a move for Joao Felix was certainly eyebrow-raising.

The attacker only arrived on a permanent deal in the summer, and it’s hard to imagine he’s pushing too hard for an exit just yet. He’s not playing as much as he would have liked, but it still feels a little early to be kicking up a fuss.

You can see why Milan might be interested, thinking they can pick up a bargain however. And Felix isn’t the only Blue the Italian giants think they can snag on the cheap. In fact, according to an excusive from CaughtOffside, this is just the top of a long list of players they’re interested in:

“In addition to Felix, Milan are exploring opportunities to sign more Chelsea players – the Rossoneri have made inquiries about Ben Chilwell – who is liked by Everton, as CaughtOffside revealed – Carney Chukwuemeka, Christopher Nkunku, and Tosin Adarabioyo, all of which can leave.”

The rest of those players seem far more likely to go than Felix – apart from maybe Tosin, who also arrived in the summer. If Chilwell or Chukwuemeka’s wages could be squared off, we’re sure they’d be done tomorrow. Nkunku is perhaps more difficult as he will command a large transfer fee and might want to aim for a club which is competing for the Champions League.

But given the historical levels of trade between us and Milan, and given this long list of players they’re interested in, we’d be very surprised if we make it to February without more discussions – and maybe even a deal being done.

Chukwuemeka looks maybe the best bit – affordable wages, young enough that they’re interested, and previous links.
