Chelsea added a lot of attacking weapons this summer, but there’s still a sense that the Blues need a little more in attack if they want to go to the next level as a team.
We all love Estevao and can see that the likes of Pedro Neto have a lot of quality, but adding a world class player to balance Cole Palmer on the other side would clearly add a lot to this side.

That’s why the links to Kenan Yildiz make a lot of sense. The Juventus attacker is really breaking out this season in Italy, and Chelsea are being heavily linked.
CaughtOffside are today reporting that the Blues are ready to offer him “a huge contract” to persuade him to leave Turin and come to the Premier League. Still just 20, Yildiz could easily be tempted by the glamour of a move to England.
Our current model doesn’t leave us with a lot of budget for big money players, especially on big wages. Given this would cost €90m to buy the player and a serious wage to persuade him to join, we just can’t see it. The only way we’ll be affording this is by making a major sale of an important first team player, and that’s not something we want to do.
Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen played a lot last season as the Conference League dominated, but he faces a much bleaker campaign this time out with just EFL Cup and FA Cup games on the horizon.
Meanwhile at the Evening Standard they’re arguing over Declan Rice vs. Moises Caicedo, classic international break fodder. Luckily it’s just a couple of days until Chelsea are back in action.
