According to Sky Sport Germany, VfB Stuttgart has made young Real Madrid forward Gonzalo García its top priority for the winter transfer window.

The 21-year-old caught everyone's eye this summer at the Club World Cup, scoring 4 goals and providing 1 assist in six matches. His standout performances earned him a contract extension through 2030. However, this season García has seen very limited playing time: just 2 starts and 1 assist in 14 appearances across all competitions. As a result, rumors of a January move have been circulating for several weeks.

Stuttgart has already started talks and sees García as the perfect fit. However, the club is well aware that Real Madrid won't make any transfer easy, and is therefore exploring other options in parallel.
