AC Milan make contact over deal for another Real Madrid star | OneFootball

A 2nd member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has emerged as a potential transfer target on the part of AC Milan this summer.

That’s according to market insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Fran García as the player in question.

Milan, of course, have already snapped up one player to have spent this past season on the books of Real Madrid, in Luka Modrić.

The Croatian has penned terms at San Siro following the expiration of his contract in Spain’s capital.

And as alluded to above, left-back Fran is now understood to be in the sights of the Rossoneri, too.

Fran has seen his future thrown somewhat up in the air over the last 24 hours, following Álvaro Carreras’ arrival in Xabi Alonso’s squad.

And according to the aforementioned Matteo Moretto, amid an ongoing search for a replacement for Theo Hernández, AC Milan have made first contact with Real Madrid, to gather an understanding of the 25-year-old’s availability.

It is as of yet unclear whether or not Los Blancos are open to a sale.
