According to Globo.com, Aderlan, 35, a free agent, has filed a labour claim against Santos seeking R$ seven million. The right-back played 19 games for the club across 2024 and 2025. He says an August settlement was not honoured.
He left in August last year and joined Sport after agreeing to terminate his contract. The deal provided for R$ one point two million to be paid in five instalments of R$ 240 thousand. He argues no instalment was paid, so the agreement should be void.
He claims R$ 160 thousand for dismissal without cause, including a 40% penalty on the Fundo de Garantia por Tempo de Serviço, R$ 92 thousand for half of his July 2025 salary, and R$ 281.9 thousand for proportional pay, holidays and 13th salary.
He also seeks R$ 973.5 thousand for early termination, R$ three million for lack of life and personal accident insurance after a serious knee injury at Santos, R$ 50 thousand for moral damages, and R$ two point five million for termination within 12 months of his return.
He asks for legal aid, saying he cannot meet costs without harming his family’s support. The first hearing is scheduled for 26 May in Santos, to be held in person. Santos did not comment before publication and the report will be updated if the club responds.
