African Super Cup final: Moroccans who have lifted the trophy in the past

Moroccan teams who have won the African Super Cup in previous years

Already crowned champions in 2022, RS Berkane is among four Moroccan teams to have previously lifted the African Super Cup trophy.

Raja Casablanca has been crowned twice, in 2000 and 2019, while losing two finals—in 1998 to ES Sahel (2-2, 4-2 on penalties) and to Al-Ahly (1-1, 6-5 on penalties) in 2021.

Wydad Casablanca has also played in four finals, but managed just one win to three defeats. Their sole triumph came in 2018 against TP Mazembe at the Mohamed V Stadium.

Besides RS Berkane's 2022 victory over Wydad Casablanca (2-0), another Moroccan club has lifted the trophy: Maghreb AS in 2012, after defeating Espérance Sportive de Tunis (1-1, 4-3 on penalties) at the Stade Olympique de Rades.
