Last week, we pitted our special guest – Maverick Sabre – against an AI to see who could most accurately predict the results of Premier League matchday 8.

Maverick Sabre correctly predicted Everton’s 2-0 victory away at Ipswich, along with four correct results over the course of the weekend.

But unfortunately for him, the AI was on fire, correctly predicting 2-1 victories for both Manchester United and Liverpool, plus three correct results.

That leaves the scores (three points for a correct score and one point for a correct result) at 67-65 in the AI’s favour after eight rounds of games this season.

Let’s see if this week’s special guest, Billy Lunn, an Arsenal fan and frontman of English rock band The Subways, can get the human race’s noses back in front.
