Alexander Nübel could seek a move to the Premier League this summer, according to Abendzeitung.

The Bayern Munich goalkeeper is on loan at VfB Stuttgart until the end of the season, and his next step remains unclear.

If Manuel Neuer retires at the end of the season, the 29-year-old could return to Munich to compete with Jonas Urbig for the starting spot at Bayern.

If Neuer extends his contract by another year, Nübel is likely to seek a new club, either on loan or permanently.

Stuttgart have relied on Nübel on loan for the past three seasons and already have a potential successor in Dennis Seimen, currently on loan at SC Paderborn.

Given that, a move elsewhere appears more likely for Nübel, with England’s top flight among his preferred options. So far there has been no concrete interest from clubs in England.
