Allegri confirms Pulisic’s return for Milan against Parma | OneFootball

Massimiliano Allegri confirms Christian Pulisic will be available for Milan’s away game at Parma, but is unsure about how many minutes the American can play.

USMNT star Pulisic will return to action tomorrow when his club Milan visit Parma at the Stadio Tardini in Serie A Week 11.

“Pulisic has trained twice with the team. He’s doing well physically and won’t need to work that much to regain fitness because of his physicality,” Allegri said at a press conference on Friday via Milannews.

“I don’t know how many minutes he can play. Leao and Nkunku did really well against Roma. Nkunku doesn’t have great physicality, but he held up against Roma’s defenders. Leao must improve his shape as he had remained out of action for many days. The normality for him must be to play these types of games, and the same is true for everyone else. Tomorrow we have another game where we need three points.

“We must play well technically and make few mistakes because we made too many errors in the first 30 minutes against Roma.”

Pulisic suffered a hamstring injury while on USMNT international duty during the October break, and he won’t join his national team for international friendlies against Uruguay and Paraguay this month.

Mexico international Santiago Gimenez will also remain at Milanello because of an ankle injury, which makes him unavailable for Milan’s next game against Parma.

Allegri, however, is still not certain that the Mexico international will return to action for the Derby della Madonnina against Inter on November 23.

“I think he’ll be available in the derby, we’ll see. If he’s not available, he won’t be there. It’s simple,” said the Rossoneri boss.

Milan sit second in the Serie A table, level on 21 points with Inter and Roma and one point below leaders Napoli.
