In the entire 2024-25 campaign, Inter managed just eight long-range goals in 53 matches: seven in Serie A and one in Europe, a memorable Calhanoglu strike against Red Star Belgrade.

Now, with six already on the board before mid-November, Chivu’s side are closing in rapidly on that total.

This improvement reflects a broader tactical trend: a more vertical, aggressive Inter, unafraid to exploit shooting opportunities from distance to break compact defensive blocks.

Calhanoglu and Zielinski are both adept at striking from range, and Dimarco continues to add offensive thrust from wide.
