Andrew says Rossi guiding him as he settles at Flamengo | OneFootball

Andrew outlined his first impressions as a Flamengo player after addressing the media at Ninho do Urubu on Monday, saying he is settling into life in Rio.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo agreed a €1.5 million fee, approximately R$ 9.4 million, plus 10 percent of a future sale with Gil Vicente, who released the goalkeeper to sign.

He stressed he has only just arrived and will show his qualities on the pitch once he has adapted to the team’s model implemented by Filipe Luiz and the club.

Andrew added that Rossi, who plays very well with his feet, has been guiding him, and that they have spoken often to align how they can best help Flamengo.

He will wear number 42 in tribute to his father, who died aged 42, a number he has long requested to use throughout his career.
