Keith Andrews says Reiss Nelson and Kaye Furo will be available for Saturday evening’s trip to Newcastle, with Nathan Collins fit to feature. Kevin Schade is suspended after his first-half red in last week’s 1-0 win at Aston Villa, ruling him out of the next two league games and the Michaelsfield cup tie.

Andrews said the squad came through that test despite playing with 10 men, and little had changed, according to Hounslow Herald.

Furo, the 18-year-old January signing from Club Brugge, was left out at Villa Park as a precaution while his workload is managed.

Nelson, on loan from Arsenal, missed Villa with a very minor knock after losing a couple of days of training. With Schade out, he could get a run on the left if he stays fit.

Collins missed the starting line-up after a late training knock required stitches in his lip. He came on, is fine, and has trained well, with Andrews praising his captain’s character.

Young forward Luca Bentt was among the substitutes after impressing in training. He plays for Belgium Under-19s with Furo and will move between the first team and B team this season.

Brentford sit seventh and visit St James’ Park to face 11th-placed Newcastle, who are three points behind.
