Arokodare set for Wolves exit as Trabzonspor lodge loan offer | OneFootball

Tolu Arokodare is set to leave Wolves this summer, with Turkish club Trabzonspor submitting a loan offer and talks over a potential move ongoing.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the Nigerian international joined last summer in a deal worth up to £24million and scored six times in 38 games, including three in the Premier League.

No agreement has been reached, and the player’s representatives are working on a move for the 25-year-old.

A loan is viewed as the likeliest outcome, as Wolves do not expect a bid large enough to sell and are reluctant to accept a significant loss so soon after signing him.

Arokodare has reported back at Compton for pre-season training despite the likelihood of his departure during the window.

Last season he was involved in a dressing-room bust-up with team-mate Mateus Mane following the 4-0 defeat at West Ham, and he was fined heavily by the club as the sole aggressor.

Staff and players were particularly angered by his behaviour at the time, during Rob Edwards’ spell in charge.
