Arsenal have added Gabriel Jesus to their Champions League squad list.

But the forward is now eligible to play against Club Brugge on Wednesday.

He is yet to play this season, though was an unused substitute for the games against Chelsea and Brentford.

Jesus replaces youngster Max Dowman on Arsenal’s UEFA A squad list.

The club have revealed that Dowman picked up an ankle injury while playing for the Gunners’ Under-21s.

Dowman is eligible to be included on Arsenal’s UEFA B list in January due to his age, however, meaning he could still play in the Champions League this season.

But he will not be able to play in UEFA competitions for the first team for 60 days starting from December 9, Arsenal say.
