Arsenal are in ongoing talks with the management of Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman over a potential move to the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta wants to reinforce his forward line in the summer and Coman is a player of interest. The France international is expected to leave Bayern in search of a new challenge at the end of the campaign, after starting just 11 times in the Bundesliga this season.
Arsenal are interested in a deal for the 28-year-old, with the Gunners deciding against turning Raheem Sterling’s loan move into a permanent transfer.
According to Sky Germany, there is ongoing communication between the North Londoners and Coman’s camp.
However, Arsenal are aware of rival interest from Saudi Arabia and Coman’s interest in a move to the Middle East.
Arsenal have also been linked with Coman’s club teammate, Leroy Sane, though Bayern are determined to keep the winger and have offered him a new contract until 2028. Sane’s current deal expires at the end of the season.
Coman is one of the most decorated players in European football having won 12 league titles across spells with Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich.
He has 138 goals and assists in 329 appearances for Bayern and scored the winner in the 2020 Champions League final win over former club PSG.
