According to L’Equipe, Arsenal and Newcastle United have reached a €90m agreement in principle for Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, 28.
Guimaraes has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with Mikel Arteta’s side.

Arsenal were initially deterred by Newcastle’s €100m valuation, but the clubs have since found a compromise.
The €90m bid was submitted on Friday, and final details on add-ons and agents’ fees are still to be settled.
Lyon are set to receive €8m via a 20% sell-on clause after agreeing to part with Guimaraes six years ago in a €50m deal.
