Premier League giants Arsenal are ready to do whatever it takes to secure the signature of Real Madrid star Rodrygo this summer.

That’s according to Diario AS, who have on Friday provided an insight into the situation.

Arsenal’s alleged interest in frontman Rodrygo has of course long proven a prominent talking point across Spain and beyond.

As much comes amid the understanding that the Gunners have earmarked the Brazilian international as something of a dream addition to Mikel Arteta’s frontline.

Developments at the Club World Cup have only served in encouraging Arsenal yet further, with Rodrygo struggling for prominence under the watch of new head coach Xabi Alonso.

And as alluded to above, late this week, an insight into just how far the board at the Emirates are willing to go to land their man has been forthcoming.

As per a report from AS:

‘If Rodrygo leaves Madrid, Arsenal are willing to make a large investment to convince him. One that could exceed 90 million euros; they want him to be the most expensive signing of the year.’
