WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official FIFA media release earlier today.
Arsenal will compete in the four-team tournament off the back of their UEFA Women’s Champions League success earlier this year. They will take on either China’s Wuhan Jiangda or Moroccan side AS FAR in the semi-finals with the winners advancing to the final where they will face either Corinthians or Gotham FC.
The semi-finals will be staged at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium while the final and third-place play-off will take place at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium. The venues will be re-named ‘Brentford Stadium’ and ‘Arsenal Stadium’ for tournament purposes.
Speaking following the announcement, Arsenal’s CEO, Richard Garlick said “We’re thrilled that the third-place match and final will be played at Arsenal Stadium, as we continue to pioneer and drive growth in the women’s game with our supporters.
“We look forward to delivering a memorable event for our community in North London and supporters of the game all over the world. Following our historic UEFA Women’s Champions League win in May, we’re proud that our women’s team will be competing on the global stage in the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.”
The FIFA Women’s Champions Cup 2026 semi-finals take place on Wednesday 28 January 2026 while the final and third-place play-off will be held on Sunday 1 February 2026.
