Sunderland left-back Arthur Masuaku faces conflicting reports over a proposed Konyaspor move, as transfer talk intensifies on Wearside. Separate claims also link Matias Soule with AC Milan and suggest Fulham are closing in on Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Garcia.

Konya’nin Sesi reports negotiations with Sunderland had reached the final stages for the DR Congo international to leave on a free, while Yeni Meram claims the deal may now be on hold as Masuaku assesses alternatives and Konyaspor cool their interest.

The experienced defender joined last summer, made four first-team appearances before a January loan to RC Lens. With a year left on his contract, he is widely expected to depart.

AS Roma have reportedly offered Matias Soule to Milan, with any move likely to cost upwards of £34.3 million, and there is no concrete indication Sunderland intend to pursue him. Tutto Juve claims Roma, seeking funds, have turned to Milan and that the Rossoneri view the valuation as affordable, though their next step is unclear.

Fulham are understood to be closing on Gonzalo Garcia, previously linked with Sunderland since last year’s promotion. Fabrizio Romano reports a fixed £34.3 million fee plus £1.7 million in add-ons, with Madrid negotiating a 30% sell-on, and Garcia would reunite with new Craven Cottage head coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
