Aston Villa agree sleeve sponsorship with Betano | OneFootball

Aston Villa have agreed a new sleeve sponsorship with Betano. The Greek gambling firm’s logo, on the front for the past two seasons, will now appear on the left sleeve.

New Premier League rules ban front-of-shirt betting sponsors, although sleeve logos remain permitted. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the deal was negotiated by president of business operations Francesco Calvo and is believed to be more lucrative than the previous sleeve agreement with Trade Nation.

The agreement was confirmed on Thursday. Villa announced a multi-year partnership with Visit Rwanda earlier this month to take the front-of-shirt position.

Calvo welcomed the continuation of the partnership, highlighting collaborative initiatives and an appetite to explore new avenues for growth. He said the club are proud of what has been achieved with Kaizen Gaming as principal partner and are excited about future opportunities.

Kaizen’s chief commercial officer Julio Iglesias called the first two years with Villa extraordinary and said the period had culminated in winning the UEFA Europa League. He praised the club’s heritage and community focus and said the partnership fits around shared ambition, values and trust.
