Barcelona have been working hard on securing the arrivals of top young talents in recent weeks, and it is clear that the club are pivoting towards the direction of reinforcing the academy and preparing players for the first team.
Reports earlier today brought to light how Barcelona have closed the signing of Hamza Abdelkarim and are close to Ajay Tavares – the prodigal teenage Norwich forward who is a massive left-wing talent.
Fabrizio Romano, however, brings to light that it is not just the aforementioned two players and that Barcelona are actually closing in on four massive youth signings for the Barça Atletic outfit.

The first player Barcelona are bringing in is none other than Hamza, the young Egyptian forward whose move to Barcelona was all but confirmed by Al-Ahly’s sporting director earlier today. He will arrive on loan with an option to purchase.
Tavares, meanwhile, saw RB Leipzig make a last-minute entry to sign him but is fixated on signing for Barcelona. The deal is in the final stages and should be closed in the coming days – making him the second big youth signing.
The third talent Barcelona are eyeing is Juwensley Onstein, Genk’s reserve centre-back who was on the verge of a transfer to Italy until very recently.
Barcelona’s arrival, however, has changed matters and the Catalans are close to finalising the deal. The agreement with the player is almost done.
Finally, the fourth player Barcelona hope to incorporate is Patricio Pacifico, the 19-year-old left-back talent who currently plays in Uruguay. Barcelona are closing in on him as a signing as well, perhaps as a long-term backup for Alejandro Balde.
