Barcelona boss Flick wants to sign Borussia Dortmund star | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has identified a member of the attacking ranks at Borussia Dortmund as a chief transfer target.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing German outlet BILD, who point towards Serhou Guirassy as the player in question.

Barcelona are of course expected to seek out reinforcements at centre-forward with a view to next season.

As much comes with the aging Robert Lewandowski primed to depart Catalunya’s capital upon the expiration of his contract.

A whole host of strikers, in turn, have been tipped as potential arrivals at the Camp Nou.

And the latest, as alluded to above, comes in the form of Serhou Guirassy.

After the Guinean notched a hat-trick against his side in the Champions League last season, Hansi Flick has continued to follow Guirassy’s progress.

And the German has evidently been left impressed along the way, amid confirmation that he considers the 29-year-old the perfect profile for his squad.

There are two problems for Flick, however.

The first is the preference of Barcelona president Joan Laporta for a different profile of player, and the 2nd is Dortmund’s hefty €100 million demands.
