PSG pulled off a thrilling 2-1 comeback against FC Barcelona this month at Montjuïc Stadium. Barcelona struck first in the 19th minute, with Ferran Torres scoring to give the hosts an early lead and momentum.
Luis Enrique and his team responded before halftime, as Senny Mayulu calmly finished a Nuno Mendes pass in the 38th minute to level the score and quiet the home crowd. The second half saw both sides push hard for the winner, creating a tense and evenly matched battle.
The decisive moment came in stoppage time. In the 90th minute, Gonçalo Ramos converted an assist from Achraf Hakimi, completing the turnaround and securing all three points for PSG.

Despite this loss and possibly humbling the Spanish side, manager Hansi Flick believes that the defeats are more Barcelona’s fault rather than anything the opposition did.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Flick and his staff have concluded that the losses against Sevilla and PSG were due to defensive miscoordination and the players’ not understanding tactical decisions taken on the spot.
Although Flick insists his team was responsible for the Champions League defeat, Lamine Yamal, returning from injury, had little impact on the game. Nuno Mendes and Lucas Hernandez helped neutralize the Barcelona standout’s threat. Former PSG manager Luis Fernandez even highlighted Mendes’ effort in handling Yamal.
“Nuno Mendes had a magnificent match against Barça,” Fernandez said. “He kept Lamine Yamal in check, frustrated him, and didn’t let himself get beaten. Then the young Nuno Mendes pushed forward and played a key role in PSG’s attacking play. Bravo to Nuno Mendes!”
