Barcelona: Good news for Marco Casadó
FC Barcelona left Balaídos with a 4-2 victory over Celta Vigo, and above all, with positive news for Marco Casadó.
Just before kick-off, Hansi Flick replaced Casadó with Dani Olmo in the starting lineup. The young 22-year-old midfielder felt some discomfort in his adductor during the warm-up, but medical tests quickly ruled out any serious injury, according to AS. The player is now expected to be ready for the next La Liga match against Athletic Club on November 22, following the international break.
This situation comes as a relief for the German coach, who is already dealing with the absence of Frenkie de Jong, suspended, and Pedri, injured. This season, Casadó has played 12 matches, totaling 566 minutes, and notably provided an assist against Valencia. A product of the club’s academy, his contract runs until June 2028.
