La Liga giants Barcelona are preparing for a crunch round of negotiations with Saudi outfit Al-Hilal over the days ahead.
This will come with a view to sorting once and for all the futures of both João Cancelo, and Raphinha.
In the case of the former, both Barca and Cancelo himself are hopeful of finally working out an agreement to make the Portuguese’s move to Catalunya’s capital permanent this summer.
Cancelo spent the 2nd half of last season plying his trade on loan with Hansi Flick’s squad, with all parties keen to find common ground on a fee to make the move full-time.
In the case of Raphinha, though, the Camp Nou brass appear far less open to working out a deal.
Al-Hilal remain absolutely desperate to overcome the odds to bring long-time transfer target Raphinha to the Middle East over the coming weeks.
According to Mundo Deportivo, though, any deal is considered more than ‘difficult’ to work out, owing in no small part to the desire of the Brazil international to stay put.
